Reference Pictures

I figured that if you want to succesfully study anatomy successfully you need as much "real life footage" as you can get, so I wanted to include a little library of pictures at the end of every page. Use the websites/resources below or any other free to use pictures -> tryTry to include many viewpoints, male and male/female looking bodies,bodies and a variety of models that show different characteristics. 

Remember to not show completetlyexplicit nude peoplecontent, so that everoneeveryone can use AnatomyArchive.

  1. use Wikimedia Commons
    follow the licence rules for each picture (usually inlcludes citing the name and link); ifIf you need to blurcrop or cropblur explicit parts of the picture, make sure to include that in the citing, e.g. „This image is altered: cropped“


    • Public domain images
    • Free to use ...pictures without restrictions
    • useSources ...that are explicitly stated below (for example a partnership with a model)

 

  • Wikimedia Commons
    • Filter for "No restriction" which means public domain images (CC0)
  • Unsplash
    • many good pictures under their free license
  • Pixabay
    • no paid license, so everything is usable
